Two Bryant High School students have been named National Merit Semifinalists. Congratulations to Deeya Rohant and Garrett Fuhrman!
These academically talented high school seniors have an opportunity to continue in the competition for some 7,250 National Merit Scholarships worth more than $28 million that will be offered next spring.
Deeya, daughter of Tejas and Bhakti Rohant, plans to attend U of A and major in biochemistry. She is the editor of Perspective, the student news publication of Bryant High School, and a member of the National Honor Society.
Garrett is the son of Tony and Traci Fuhrman. Garrett plans to attend the University of Arkansas, but is undecided on a major. He enjoys computer programming classes and is part of the Legacy Band front ensemble.
Join us in wishing Deeya and Garrett the best in the next phase of the competition!
