Jason Scoggins has been hired by the Bryant School Board as the incoming Assistant Principal at Bryant Middle School. He will begin on July 1.
An educator for ten years, Mr. Scoggins has worked in the Bryant School District for seven years teaching at BHS and BMS. He earned his Bachelor's in Communication Degree from UALR along with his Master’s in Secondary Education. Mr. Scoggins obtained his Specialist Degree in Educational Leadership from ASU. While working in the district, Mr. Scoggins has served as a teacher, club sponsor, PLC Facilitator, and PPC representative.
We are excited for Mr. Scoggins to join the BMS leadership team.

The Bryant School Board has hired Brad Matthews as Dean of Students for Bryant High School.
Coach Matthews has been teaching and coaching for 24 years. He has served as the BHS Head Girls Basketball Coach since 2011.
Join us in welcoming him to this new position, which will begin July 1.

The Bryant Board of Education has hired Ty Cooley, M.Ed, as the incoming Assistant Principal for Davis Elementary. Ms. Cooley will begin her new role on July 1.
Ms. Cooley has served as an educator for 18 years. She has been a Davis Dolphin for past 7 years, first as a 3rd grade teacher, then moving to K-5 Building Learning Specialist. She earned a Bachelors degree from SAU and a Masters degree from ASU.
Ms. Cooley is excited to continue to serve, support, and motivate the staff, students, parents and the community of Davis Elementary where high growth and achievement is the goal.

The Bryant School Board has approved Dr. Lindsey McBride as the new principal of Parkway Elementary. Dr. McBride will move to her new role on July 1.
Dr. McBride, who has been with the district for over six years, currently serves as Assistant Principal at Bryant Elementary. She earned her Doctorate in Education from UALR in December 2020. In addition to her strong leadership abilities, Dr. McBride brings experience as both a classroom teacher and instructional coach.

The Boys and Girls Club (Davis Elementary) site will be closed today due to no power. If your child attends Boys and Girls Club after school, please make arrangements to pick them up as quickly as possible.
Many areas of our community are experiencing power outages, which affect traffic signals. Both the severe weather and traffic signals may impact normal bus drop off times for students. Please do not be concerned if your student is not dropped off at the regular time today.

The Arkansas Seal of Biliteracy recognizes Arkansas high school students who have attained proficiency in two or more languages. Twenty-eight Bryant High School students earned this distinction, one in Vietnamese and the others in Spanish. Congratulations! #BryantProud
