🎉 Spirit Week is officially underway! 🎉

We kicked off the first day of Spirit Week with Generation Wars! 👶👵 Our 8th graders went back in time as adorable babies, while our 9th graders embraced their senior years as old people! 😂

But the fun didn’t stop there… our teachers joined in on the action with a surprise twist, coming to school dressed like our teenagers! 👟🎒📱

There were lots of laughs, lots of fun, and LOTS of school spirit! BJHS definitely showed up and showed out for Day 1! 💙🐝

Tomorrow is Rhyme Without Reason! 🎭 Get creative, have fun, and remember to stay in dress code while showing off your spirit!

Math Breakout Challenge

Mrs. Riemenschneider’s math classes headed to the library to practice their math skills while putting their problem-solving abilities to the test! 💛💛 BRYANT JUNIOR HIGH SHOWED UP & SHOWED OUT! 💛💛 Our BJHS family came together to support Childhood Cancer Awareness by wearing GOLD and making donations to help support children and families affected by childhood cancer. 🎗️ It was so amazing to see our students and staff come together, spread awareness, and show that even small acts of kindness can make a BIG difference! 💛 Thank you to everyone who wore gold, donated, and helped make this day so special. Yesterday, Bryant Junior High School FCCLA students spent time at the food bank, where they packaged an incredible 3,256 pounds of food! The food will be distributed to food pantries across Arkansas to help communities throughout the state.
Way to go, Hornets! We’re proud of you for giving back and making a difference!

Mr. Price… I mean, His Majesty of the Blue and White Realm has called his students to arms! 👑

Our noble engineers were challenged to design and create catapults capable of facing the mighty stone walls of the enemy castle! Their mission? Launch mini marshmallows through the castle windows and earn points for valor, accuracy, and mighty arm strength! 🏹☁️

🌈🔬 Learning Density the Colorful Way! 🔬🌈

Our Physical Science students had a colorful day of learning with the Rainbow Density Activity! 🧪✨

Students explored the relationship between mass, volume, and density while creating beautiful layers of different liquids. They observed how liquids with different densities can stack on top of one another instead of mixing together.

It was a hands on way to see that density isn’t just a formula; it’s something we can observe, investigate, and explain! 💡🧠

Who says learning Physical Science can’t be colorful? 🌈⚗️

🇺🇸 Remembering September 11, 2001 🇺🇸 Yesterday, our students and staff wore red, white, and blue as we took time to honor the victims, heroes, first responders, and families forever impacted by September 11, 2001. As we recognized the 25th anniversary of 9/11, we walked through the timeline of events throughout the morning, helping students understand the significance of what happened that day and the lasting impact it had on our country. Our students also had the opportunity to hear personal stories from people they know, teachers, family members, and others in our community, who shared where they were and what they remember from that day. Hearing these firsthand experiences helped bring history to life and reminded us that behind the events we read about in textbooks are real people, real stories, and real lives that were changed forever. We remember those we lost. We honor the heroes who stepped forward. We stand with the families who continue to carry their memories. And we will never forget. 🇺🇸❤️🤍💙 September 11, 2001 — 25 years later, we remember.

Bryant Junior High is once again kicking off our Peanut Butter Drive, and we’re turning giving back into a friendly advisory competition! 🐝💙

From September 1st–September 30th, students can bring jars of peanut butter to their advisory class. Every jar counts toward their class total, so let’s see which advisory can collect the most! 👀🥜

🏆 The advisory with the most jars will win OUTSIDE TIME before Fall Break! 🎉

But the best part? ❤️ All of the peanut butter collected will be donated to families in our community.
