Did you know Constitution Day is celebrated in the month of September? Constitution Day is celebrated to commemorate the signing of the United States Constitution in 1787. The day serves as a reminder of the responsibilities and opportunities of citizenship. To celebrate, Mrs. Chism’s class wrote a Preamble to their Social Contract and signed their names with a feather pen just like the Founding Fathers! They learned that their classroom Social Contract is like a classroom Constitution, protecting their safety, their happiness, and their learning. Then, students drew a picture of themselves being a good citizen and following their classroom Social Contract. 🪶📝🇺🇸 #timetoshine #BeBryant

🎉 This past Friday was a day to remember! We celebrated "Go Gold Day" for Childhood Cancer Awareness, honored our Character Award recipients, recognized our Readers of the Month, and enjoyed a fantastic staff potluck. 🌟 A special shoutout to our incredible students who showcased outstanding Empathy in their first month back at school! September is Childhood Cancer Awareness Month. For the third year, our district is participating in the #GoGold campaign. All Hornets are asked to #GoGold on Friday, September 27. Wear gold clothing/accessories or wear a gold ribbon. We are asking students to donate $1 and staff to donate $2. All donations will be given to Arkansas Children’s Hospital Hematology/Oncology Child Life Department to support children with cancer and their families.
